Quetico Solitude

A silent trail over slabs of limestone and through forest where wild mushrooms hide in the mosses leads to a place of dappled light and shadows and solitude. And to a secluded beach on a lake bordered by tall pines, shrubbery, and coffee-coloured tidal pools. In places such as this, places you absorb all alone, it’s easy to imagine how it might have felt to be the first to discover them.
