Where the Heart Comes to Rest

The last and closing print in the Heron Road series this print is inspired by many places rolled into one. Emblematic of the landscape in the region of British Columbia where I live, it could also represent similar beautiful parts of Alberta or, in the United States, Colorado, Utah, northern Oregon and Northern California, just to name a few. The list is long. To me it represents any place where in nature where your soul feels that it can expand, where you can hear the trees talk, and where your feet can plant themselves firmly on solid ground. Please note: Minor variations are possible, as a result of the technique by which reduction prints are made, and are what makes each print in the edition a ‘unique art piece’.
