Kinbrook Island, Alberta — relief print by Kate Goetz

Kinbrook Island, Alberta

$115.00 CAD

Kinbrook Island floats just off the eastern shore of Lake Newell, the largest man-made lake in Alberta. A five-kilometer trail loops through marshland where white pelicans and cormorants chase each other along the water’s edge and then winds through a vast open area of grassland and wild sage. The landscape is beautiful and so flat you can see for what seems like miles – an illusion; you’re on an island after all. Please note: Minor variations are possible, as a result of the technique by which reduction prints are made, and are what makes each print in the edition a ‘unique art piece’.
