Good Morning, Maine

Mid-October in Maine, USA. Early morning at Christies Campground, on Sebasticook Lake just outside of Newport. Cold outside already and winter feels close. The lake is a mirror, its surface shining and completely smooth. Mists glide above the surface of the water as the sun, newly risen, paints the lake and the edges of the trees along the shoreline gold, dispelling the shadows of night. Leaves are changing colour and gleaming in the brilliant morning air. Please note: Minor variations are possible, as a result of the technique by which reduction prints are made, and are what makes each print in the edition a ‘unique art piece’.
