The Lair of the Ice Serpent

The inspiration for this print came to me on a narrow woodland trail near my home where, in early spring, the ice and snow of the winter slowly melt to reveal the ground in muted colours, and interesting and beautiful ice formations. Minor variations are possible, as a result of the technique by which reduction prints are made, and are what makes each print in the edition a ‘unique art piece’.
