Sand Dollar
$95.00 CAD
At Seaside, on the Oregon Coast, sand dollars lie tossed on the long shoreline like leaves. Brought to the beach by the tide, they look like miniature flying saucers. Most of them are bleached white, the markings that make each one unique are washed out and faded.
This one, a fragment, was a rare find: the markings still visible against its background surface and resembling tree branches or fantasy landscapes.
Please note: Minor variations are possible, as a result of the technique by which reduction prints are made, and are what makes each print in the edition a ‘unique art piece’.
